10 Litre – Mini Barrels

It holds no fewer than 18 pints. Once opened, pour off half a pint to discard and consume within 3 days for maximum freshness.

Please be aware, because this is a natural product and CO2 build up will occur in the barrel, the gas will need to be vented every few days. This is fresh cask beer and should be enjoyed before the date shown on the cask.

We aim to give you a best before date as late as possible (up to several weeks) but we guarantee that the cask will have at least 10 days from the date of dispatch.

Please note because of the nature of this product it is not returnable or refundable.

Bottle Conditioned Ale

Bottle Conditioning means that a little yeast is left in the bottle to develop over time, producing the fresh, complex flavours of real ale. We recommend storing upright in cool, dry place (ideally 7 – 12 degrees C) and pouring slowly and carefully at an angle

Taking delivery and storage

As part of any delivery process, the liquid and sediment in the bottle will have been disturbed during transit. It is important that you let the bottle stand on its base for at least 72 hours before opening it.

If you plan to store the bottles to enjoy in later years, you should store them upright to ensure any settling happens at the bottom of the bottle. It will also be ready to drink whenever you wish. Store your Vintage Ale in a cool, dry place where the temperature will not drop below 2C or go above 25C.
